In honor of Tony Longhetti and his legacy in training ASCLD/LAB Inspectors to be knowledgeable, thorough, objective and compassionate during the conduct of accreditation inspection.

Who: Inspectors/Team Captains, Assessors/Lead Assessors

When: Delegate Assembly Meeting

Nominating Officials: Executive Director, Staff Inspectors, Inspectors, Team Captains, Assessors and Lead Assessors

• Criteria: Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:
• Service to ASCLD/LAB i.e. number of inspections/assessments
  
• Difficulty or complication of inspections/assessments
  
• Knowledge and application of ASCLD/LAB standards and criteria and current policy decisions
  
• Objective evaluation of applicant laboratories approach to fulfilling accreditation standards
  
• Self-motivation during inspections/assessments
  
• How they represent the highest principles of the accreditation process to fellow inspectors, assessors, and the laboratory staff being inspected
  
• How they work cooperatively with fellow team members
